About us

We are a group of young women with one goal in mind. Helping the city become a smarter, more efficient, and productive place. We recognize the amount of unnecessary time spent waiting in lineups and rooms -- time that could be put to much better use! And so, we have created this website and app to help minimize your time spent waiting.

This site was created with the intent to make our city SMART. A SMART city is an urban area that uses different types of electronic data collection sensors to supply information which is used to manage assets and resources efficiently. In the approach to the Smart Cities Mission, the objective is to promote cities that provide core infrastructure and give a decent quality of life to its citizens, a clean and sustainable environment and application of 'Smart' Solutions.

Why Wait?

Human beings spend approximately 6 months of their lives waiting. We spend an average of 20 minutes a day waiting for public transit, 32 minutes everytime we visit a doctor, and 38 hours annually waiting for traffic. With all of the waiting we have to do, no wonder we feel as if we don't have enough hours in a day. That's why we're here - Why Wait? aims to provide quick and helpful services to improve efficiency everyday.
